Life in Lima
In 2015, I ventured to Lima, Peru to work with Krochet Kids International, a non-profit organization combatting the ways poverty disproportionately affects women in the Global South. These 6 months were rich with world-opening experiences that taught me not only about Peruvian culture & Spanish-language, but also textile arts, fashion design, and how education is an essential component to empowering people across the globe.
