“Silly City” Collage Mural made collectively by students, families, and community members
Tanabata Paper Lanterns
Upper level elementary students created paper koi fish lantern inspired by the Tanabata festival in Japan. The project involved: learning about Japanese culture and customs, discussing community art and how art connects people, and creating paper crafts such as collage and origami.
